These Terms govern your use of LegalCV at mylegalresume.com (the “Service”). By uploading a resume or using the site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Notice.
The Service
LegalCV provides free, no-signup formatting assistance for legal resumes. You may optionally consent to share contact details and your original file for recruiting. Features may change or be limited (including rate limits) to protect the Service.
Not advice; no guarantees
LegalCV is not a law firm, career office, or employment agency. Output is formatting assistance only — not legal advice, career advice, or a guarantee of interviews, offers, or compatibility with any applicant tracking system. Always review and edit results before you apply.
AI and accuracy
Formatting uses third-party AI (OpenAI) via our backend. Models can omit, alter, or invent details. You are responsible for verifying that the downloaded resume is accurate and complete. Do not upload content you are not entitled to process.
Your content
You retain ownership of your resume content. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the Service (formatting and, if you opt in, recruiting). You represent that your submission does not violate others’ rights or applicable law.
Acceptable use
- No malware, scraping abuse, or attempts to bypass rate limits or security controls
- No uploading of others’ personal information without authority
- No use that interferes with operators, other users, or infrastructure
Availability and “as is”
The Service is provided free of charge on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We may suspend access for maintenance, abuse prevention, or operational reasons.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LegalCV and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or employment-related damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on formatted output.

Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
